Why is my computer not connecting to Wi-Fi?

Possible Causes:

  • Wi-Fi is disabled.

Solution:

  1. Check Wi-Fi Status:
    • On Windows: Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar and ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
    • On Mac: Click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar and make sure it is enabled.
  2. Restart Your Device and Router:
    • Turn off your computer and restart it.
    • Unplug your router and modem from the power source, wait for 30 seconds, and plug them back in.
  3. Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
    • Go to Wi-Fi settings, select your network, and click "Forget Network."
    • Reconnect by entering the Wi-Fi password.
  4. Check Other Devices:
    • Try connecting a phone or another laptop to the same Wi-Fi.
    • If they work fine, the issue is with your computer.
